# A registration form ready the moment your event is

No separate form tool, no external link to wire up. Waiv generates the registration form along with your event, you customize it field by field, and your attendees register directly on the event website.

## The form exists before you even think about it

When you [create your event](/en/features/event-creation), Waiv generates
the registration form along with the website and the emails, in the event's
primary language, with fields tailored to your brief. You start from a form
that works, not from a blank page.

The best part is left to you: fine-tuning. The editor shows your fields on
one side and a preview of the form on the other, updated as you edit.

## Ask exactly the questions you need

Six field types cover the essentials: text, email, long text, single
choice, multiple choice, and checkbox. Every field can be made required or
hidden without deleting it, duplicated in one click, and reordered by drag
and drop.

The core fields stay in place to keep registrations usable, but their
labels adapt to your vocabulary. A required field blocks submission until
it is filled in, with a clear message for the attendee.

## Your attendees register without leaving your website

The form opens from the buttons on your
[event website](/en/features/event-website-editor), on top of the page, in
your event's colors and typography. On mobile, it appears as a panel sized
for the screen.

A guest who opens the website from their personal link finds a form
pre-filled with their information: they confirm instead of retyping
everything. And if they say they won't attend, the detailed questions are
skipped.

## Every registration lands in the right place, confirmed on both sides

The attendee sees right away that their registration went through. Edge
cases are handled with explicit messages: email address already
registered, registrations closed, event full.

On your side, responses feed directly into your
[guest list](/en/features/guest-management), and the Registrations page
shows the counters: total, confirmed, declined, pending. No exports, no
syncing between tools.

## How it works

The form is born with the event. You fine-tune it, it works for you.

1. **Create your event** Waiv generates the registration form along with the website, in the
event's primary language, with fields tailored to your brief.

2. **Adjust the fields** Add your questions, pick their type, make them required or hide them,
reorder by drag and drop. The preview updates live.

3. **Save, the website does the rest** The form opens from the buttons on your event website, with no external
page and no extra tool.

4. **Watch the responses come in** Every registration appears in your guest list, and the confirmed,
declined, and pending counters update.

## Your registration form is already almost ready

Create your event: the website, the form, and the emails arrive together.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I have to build the form myself?

No. The form is generated when your event is created, in its primary
language, with fields tailored to your brief. You then fine-tune it in an
editor with a live preview.

### What types of questions can I ask?

Six field types: text, email, long text, single choice, multiple choice,
and checkbox. Every field can be required or hidden, duplicated, and
reordered by drag and drop.

### Where do my attendees register?

Directly on your event website. The form opens on top of the page, in
the event's colors, on desktop and on mobile. No external link, no
third-party tool.

### What happens if someone declines the invitation?

Their response is recorded with the declined status and counts toward
your counters. The form's detailed questions are only asked of people
who confirm they are coming.

### What do attendees see when the event is full?

The number of attendees included depends on your plan. When the event is
full, the new registration is refused with a clear message inviting them
to contact the organizer. Plan details are presented on
[the homepage](/en).

### Is it free?

Waiv offers a free plan to create your event and receive your first
registrations, with usage limits. Plan details are presented on
[the homepage](/en).
